Anthony Perkins' Tuna Fish Salad

Anthony Perkins is best known for his epic, spine-chilling role as Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 horror masterpiece, "Psycho." When he wasn't acting, he made tuna salad!

Tuna Fish Salad


1 can chunk white tuna, drained

1 stalk celery, chopped fine

1 quarter onion, minced

2 heaping tablespoons of mayonnaise

Black pepper to taste

Juice of half a lemon


Empty a tall can of tuna fish into a large salad bowl and break up with a wooden fork. Add celery, one stalk, chopped fine, minced onions and 2 heaping tablespoons of mayonnaise. Season with black pepper.


Squeeze lemon juice over the ingredients and mix thoroughly, but don’t mash. Serve on lettuce leaves.
